Children on Atholl Estates

Children are very welcome here.

Miles of tracks leading through hills and glens, the surprise of deer and squirrels darting in front of you and the sheer freedom of wide open spaces make this estate a natural adventure playground. Our ranger service is there to guide you and frequently offer activities and events specifically for children.

History is virtually alive around you with beautiful buildings from the past, many still being used for the purpose they were built and work to manage the land carrying on in time honoured tradition.

The young can awe at the splendour of Blair Castle and Gardens, learning of its place in Scottish history through an informal children’s tour before letting off steam in the adventure playground and possibly taking a tractor trailer tour of the wider grounds.
