Atholl Estates on "Men of Rock"

The programme focuses on James Hutton, who while on a stalking trip with the 4th Duke of Atholl in 1785 discovered a fasinating rock formation within the bed of the river Tilt.  The discovery enabled Hutton to develop his theory on rock formation which formed the science of geology.

Men of Rock will be screened on BBC 2 Scotland on Tuesday 30 November at 9pm.
