New Ranger Centre now Open!

Atholl Estates Ranger Centre Refurbished

 

Last year the boundaries of the Cairngorms National Park were extended to Blair Atholl, after which a joint project began with the Atholl Estates Rangers to refurbish the village's Ranger Centre.

David Green, the CNPA convener said: “Blair Atholl is a key location – it’s often seen as the gateway to the park from the A9. Having a strong CNP identity with the use of the Cairngorms brand and a National Park zone will give people all the information they need about the park, helping them make the most of their visit and to show how the history and culture of Blair Atholl have helped shape the park.

The development project also includes plans to build a new visitor information centre, public toilets, up to 3 retails units and to upgrade the existing entrance and car park.
