Winter 2007/8: Tuesdays and Saturdays from 6 November to 18 March from 9.30am – last admission 12.30pm (grounds, shop and restaurant close at 2.00pm). The tours have a winter theme. Winter admission rates for groups of 12+ is £5.50 per visitor.

Summer 2008: Open daily from 21st March – 24th October, 9.30am – last admission 4.30pm

Special opening for coach groups can be pre-booked at other times during the winter subject to availability and by prior arrangement. Catering at the restaurant is also available for pre-booked groups – click here for more information.

The castle is closed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.
